American Government

This semester course explores the structure, principles, and function of the United States government. Students will study foundational documents such as the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, gaining a deeper understanding of democracy, federalism, and the separation of powers. Topics include the roles of the three branches of government, the electoral process, and the responsibilities of citizenship. Discussions will incorporate a biblical worldview, highlighting the balance of justice and mercy in governance and the Christian’s role in influencing society with integrity and wisdom.

Economics

In this semester course, students will learn the principles of economics, including supply and demand, market structures, and personal finance. Topics will also include global trade, economic systems, and the impact of fiscal and monetary policies. Through a Kingdom-minded lens, students will explore the concept of stewardship, understanding how to manage resources responsibly and align financial decisions with biblical principles. Discussions will emphasize generosity, ethical practices, and the importance of serving others through economic activity.

By the end of this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to engage thoughtfully in civic and economic matters, recognizing their role as ambassadors of Christ in the world.
