Course Description

Thinkwell Geometry offers comprehensive coverage of concepts foundational to Geomet

emphasizing understanding, applying, justifying, and developing geometric properties

relationships in two and three dimensions

Students will learn and explore geometric reasoning, coordinate geometry, parallel and

perpendicular lines, triangle congruence, properties of polygons and circles, similarity, righ

triangle trigonometry, area, and volume.

This course will offer opportunities for students to present solutions during each math

session. This is a safe environment where we respect and encourage one other and celebrate

our accomplishments. The teacher and students are a team encouraging on another on the

math journey. We will work together as we learn and compose solutions.

Thinkwell Geometry features 20 hours of engaging video lectures and detailed Notes that are

easily accessible to the student, providing plenty of detailed example problems that give a road

map to help find solutions to the interactive exercises and worksheets.

Classroom Expectation

1. Attendance: Students should sign in 5 minutes before class begins, using their first

last name.

2. Participation: Video feature must be on, showing student’s entire ace. Student

use the chatbox for questions unless called upon to unmute

3. Preparation: Students must be seated at a table or desk with a pen/pencil, notebook an

their completed homework out and ready.

4. Participatin: Student participation is encouraged at each session, we will rely

other to solve and present solutions during class Homework should be completed o

time before the next class session. This will help us all keep the pace and will make ou

sessions productive

Homework Policy:

Homework is an essential part of learning, it’s a great opportunity for students to practice

master the new concepts each week. All assignments must be submitted before the beginning

of the next class session.

Coming to class prepared will make a tremendous difference in student comprehension

and class contributions.
