This course provides an in-depth exploration of the living world, focusing on the structure, function, and interaction of organisms. Topics include cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, human biology, and the classification of living organisms. Students will engage in laboratory experiments, dissections, and investigations that deepen their understanding of biological systems and the interdependence of life on Earth.

From a biblical worldview, Biology reveals the complexity and beauty of God’s creation. Students will explore how life reflects God’s intentional design and the interconnectedness of all living things. They will be encouraged to recognize their role as stewards of creation, using their knowledge of biology to care for the environment, serve others, and honor God through responsible scientific inquiry. The course will also highlight the concept of life as a gift from God and the purpose of living in alignment with His will for health, relationships, and care for the planet.
