Course Description:

This high school Physics course invites students to explore the laws that govern motion, matter, energy, and the physical universe. Through engaging lessons, experiments, and collaborative activities, students will examine key topics such as Newton’s Laws, kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, waves, electricity, and magnetism.

Using the Revelate Learning platform, students will encounter physics not as a dry collection of formulas, but as a dynamic exploration of God’s design. The course presents physics as a way to understand the ordered, powerful, and creative nature of our Creator—while equipping students with scientific literacy and problem-solving skills essential for future STEM studies.

Whether students are aspiring engineers, doctors, or simply curious learners, this course will help them develop both the technical understanding and critical thinking skills required to approach the world with confidence and curiosity.

Course Objectives:

  • Understand and apply Newtonian mechanics and the principles of motion.

  • Analyze energy, work, and power using mathematical and conceptual reasoning.

  • Explore the properties of waves, sound, light, and electromagnetic phenomena.

  • Apply physics to real-world and biblical contexts through labs, modeling, and reflection.

  • Prepare students for future coursework in advanced physics, chemistry, engineering, or other sciences.
